Sun Mesa Preserve is located midway between Lake Chelan and Wenatchee in sunny Central Washington. Just above the hills overlooking the small town of Entiat, Sun Mesa Preserve is just over a 2-1/2 hour drive from Seattle & Bellevue.
Driving Directions
From Seattle: Take I-90 eastbound to Cle Elum. Exit 85, follow highway 970 north, becoming highway 97. Turn right onto Highway 2/97 and follow eastbound toward Wenatchee. Take the US 97A north ramp toward Chelan and drive 15 miles. At Entiat, turn left onto Shearson Street. Then right onto Entiat Way. Left at Auvil Street and follow the signs to the right for 1.2 miles up the narrow asphalt road in the orchard.
From Everett: Take Highway 2 eastbound to Wenatchee. Take the US 97A north ramp toward Chelan and drive 15 miles. At Entiat, turn left onto Shearson Street. Then right onto Entiat Way. Left at Auvil Street and follow the signs to the right for 1.2 miles up the narrow asphalt road in the orchard.
Note: When the asphalt on the road ends, be sure to continue up the dirt/gravel road until you reach the entrance to the Preserve! Not to worry... this dirt road will soon be widened and improved.
